New Frain Website Features Easier, Faster Search, More Information
FRANKLIN PARK, IL – The Frain Group has revamped their website to make it easier and faster for anyone to find the pre-owned packaging and processing equipment they’re looking for. The new site permits searches by the category of equipment and includes capabilities to search by manufacturer, model number, key words, technical description and even the Frain item number. Over 85 categories of equipment are identified and the site’s custom search capability will enable searches of any type of equipment in Frain’s entire inventory of 6,500 machines.
Visitors can click on an equipment category, browse the Frain inventory in that category, or search for a specific machine. In addition, there is a wealth of information about the equipment in each category, as well as links to manufacturers, which will assist those who are searching for ideas and solutions to their equipment challenges. Frain provides an engineering staff of over 250 years of combined experience, to answer technical questions on inventory or projects needs.
The new website is a response to customer needs. “Customers typically contact us at the end of an analysis that leaves them less time than they’d like to have to acquire equipment and get into production. With a 6,500 piece inventory that changes daily, the ability to find what they want quickly and easily is a welcomed benefit.” said Larry Rutkowski, Vice President of Sales. The revamped site offers a streamlined process for requesting specific equipment information or connecting to a Frain consulting engineer. In its first week, the site logged over 10,000 unique visits versus the typical few hundred visits a day on the old site.
Frain Group is the world’s preeminent provider of pre-owned processing and packaging equipment to markets such as the food, beverage, pharmaceutical and chemical industries. Its one million square foot warehouse shelters 6500 pieces of pre-owned equipment and includes a 45,000 square foot engineering services facility.
